Oura Smart Ring Promotes Better Sleep

Oura Smart Ring Promotes Better Sleep
Aug-21-15
The Oura ring aims to make wearables more wearable for round the clock use—particularly during sleep.

The Oura ring is laden with an array of tracking sensors, including a pulse oximeter, sleep monitor, step counter and heart rate monitor. The only device on the market to offer all four sensors, the ring is able to monitor the wearer during the different phases of sleep as well as daytime activities, gathering data on how to improve overall sleep and health. The data is uploaded to a paired device automatically, and can store up to three weeks’ worth of information is a device is not nearby.
