Package Guard Prevents Porch Pirates

The Package Guard was created to help reduce the thefts of packages from porches and patios. The WiFi-enabled, Frisbee-sized device sits on the homeowner’s porch, where its Place Package Here message invites delivery people to set the packages upon it. The system will send a text message to assigned contacts when a package has been delivered, and will also trigger an alarm if anyone tries to remove the package without entering the proper passcode.
