Peloton System Lets One Driver Control Two Trucks
Jul-28-19
The L4 Automated Following system from Peloton Technology lets a single driver control multiple trucks at the same time.

The L4 Automated Following technology relies on vehicle communications, radar-based active braking and a host of specialized vehicle control algorithms. Meant as a bit of a half-step towards truly automated trucks, the system allows a human-driven truck to lead a second, AI-controlled vehicle, with the actions of the first truck instantly mimicked by the following vehicle.
