Personal Mover Concept Re-imagines Micro-Mobility

May-26-18 The Personal Mover Concept from BMW offers a safe and quick way to travel short distances, both inside and out.

A new example of micro-mobility, the five-wheeled Personal Mover packs its electronics in the handle and has room for both the driver and cargo. The front wheels rotate a full 360 degrees while the center drive wheel can turn 90 degrees, and the vehicle’s regenerative braking gives it a range of up to almost 19 miles per charge. Currently, the Personal Mover Concept is in its fifth prototype cycle, and BMW believes it could have applications beyond their factories in locations such as airports and malls.
