Currently seeking funding on Indigogo, the Pintofeed is made of sturdy plastic and can hold up to 10 pounds of dry food. It connects to the internet via Wi-Fi and dispenses meals on command from the smartphone user, or it can be programmed to dispense food on a pre-set schedule. However, the unique feature of the Pintofeed is its ability to monitor the pet’s feeding habits through a system of sensors and artificial intelligence, recording the information while also sending messages through texts, email, Facebook or Twitter about feeding start and end times, amount dispensed and amount consumed.
