Endoscopes are commonly used in medical procedures, and so can also be vectors for bacteria. To help reduce the risk of infection, the PlasmaTYPHOON device will dry the channels of instruments such as gastroscopes, bronchoscopes and endoscopes within five minutes. The fully dried instruments can then be safely stored in the specialized PlasmaBAGS for up to a month.
