The Plankpad bodyweight trainer system works with the user’s mobile device to turn the exercise into a game. The Plankpad board, which can also be used as a standing balance board, features a recessed area that holds either a smartphone or tablet running a companion app that includes an array of training games and workouts. By playing a game, such as surfing or fighting monsters, the user will maintain the exercise longer than if they were simply counting down the time.
