Pocket-Sized Plasma Hand Cleaner Concept

The Electrolux HandCleaner disinfects hands with a dose of plasma, and is portable enough to be carried in a pocket or bag.Designed by Érik Gurski Lima, the HandCleaner electrically stimulates plasma gas (the same gas used in TVs), which gives the gas the ability to combine with existing gases in order to disinfect surfaces. The gas reacts with oxygen, nitrogen and water vapor in the air to destroy bacteri, fungi and viruses without harming the skin, and can be used several times throughout the day.
According to the designer, the HandCleaner would help to reduce water waste while also delivering a more effective hand sanitizing solution.
