Pop Desk Brings Smartphones to the Office Desk

The Pop Desk is a sleek desk stand that turns any smartphone into a more comfortable desk phone, complete with a retro-style handset that offers more privacy during office calls.Designed by Native Union, the elevated stand is equipped with an anti-slip, rubberized platform that is weighted just enough to remain stable on the counter or table while the phone is in use. The accompanying POP Phone handset connects to the stand via a standard size headphone jack, and can also be connected directly to the smartphone for more mobile conversations. Grooves at either end of the stand allow the handset to be connected by traveling either under or over the phone, depending on where the phone’s headphone input is located.
The developers believe the handset offers a great advantage, because today’s smartphone designs are not particularly comfortable during long conversations.
