Portable Solar Module Takes a New Angle

May-23-16 The Portable Solar Module system features triangular panels that can be linked to form a custom solar panel able to harness maximum energy.

Created by Yeh ShuHung and Hu SiQi, the panels of the Portable Solar Module (PSM) would be equipped with ‘stencils’ that not only connect the panels together, but also allow them to fold down 180 degrees. This would allow them to be set up in the most optimal position to capture the sun, as well as pack away for travel or storage.

Although still in the concept stage, the team envisions the PSM being ideal for outdoor use.
