Developed by Uprise Energy, 50-kilowatt turbine is self-contained and can be packed into a shipping container for delivery. It is able to generate enough energy to power up to 15 average US homes and has been optimized for low wind-speed environments, with features including an onboard computer able to monitor and adjust for local weather patterns and a battery for storing excess energy.
