PowerWire Cables with Built-In Preamp

Feb-08-17 The PowerWire cables from R&M Tone technology feature a preamp inside the cable itself, delivering better, cleaner sound.

The PowerWire cable jacks are each embedded with a battery-powered preamp, which delivers the same (or better) result as active pickups, but without the need for installation. According to the developers, the PowerWire provides “a stronger, more dynamic sound with greater note definition” by sending the instrument’s sound to the equipment with the benefit of pre-amplification.

The PowerWire line features four cables: two clean boost, one with sub-harmonic bass boost, and one with built-in distortion controlled by the guitar’s volume control.
