While there are already thermal imaging cameras for fire fighter helmets, they are hard to read efficiently under stress. To help the team move more quickly, the Qwake helmet is equipped with C-THRU technology, which displays real-time navigation information—and only the necessary information—in the fire fighter’s line of sight. This hands-free smart display allows the fire fighter to move up to five times faster through the environment.
