The Raptor AR smart cycling glasses invention from Everysight give cyclists a heads-up display without blocking their view of the road.
In contrast to typical cycling smartglasses, the Rapor AR do not require the side-mounted projectors that can block the user’s view. Instead, the display has been integrated into the glasses themselves via the proprietary BEAM technology, which allows the information to be overlaid on a see-through screen in the line of sight. The glasses can be controlled by voice command, temple-based touchpad or handlebar mount, and can provide a wide array of functions, including navigation, biometrics, video capture and music/phone access.
