ReelSonar Works with Smartphones to Find the Fish
Jan-30-13
ReelSonar helps bring fishing into the world of tech with its fish-finding buoy that communicates via smartphone.

Currently seeking funding on Indigogo, the ReelSonar system features a buoy with an ultrasound transducer, which enables it to analyze the underwater environment. Information is transferred via Bluetooth from the ReelSonar Smart Bobber to the ReelSonar app enabled mobile device. Among other things, the device can map the waterbed, locate fish up to 150 feet deep, send alerts when a fish is near the line and check water temperature and salinity.
