Regenerating Tire Treads

Goodyear's reCharge concept tire never needs replacing or rotating because it regenerates its tread as needed. No more need to check tire pressure and never worry about getting a flat, the reCharge's regenerative capability is fueled by a biodegradable, reloadable liquid capsule that is based on dandelion rubber and spider silk fibers. The resulting compound is pushed out of the tire on demand through pipes to the wheel's surface.
The compound is customizable to road and weather conditions, mutating as needed to suit the road surface.
