Responsive Typography Adjusts the Font for You

Responsive Typography Adjusts the Font for You
Feb-13-13
An experimental project uses the computer webcam to track your distance from the screen and resize the font automatically.

The Realtime Responsive Typography project, developed by Marko Dugonjić, works with the computer’s webcam to track your face and adjust the font to the best size. The webcam will only activate with the user’s explicit permission, and the project can be tested on Dugonjić’s demo page.

The program could be useful for people who don’t work entirely at their desk, yet need to read their computer’s screen for instructions or directions from time to time.
