Robotic Valet System

Robotic Valet System
May-25-17
The Stan robotic valet system from Stanley Robotics provides automatic valet parking via a smartphone app.

The Stan system, currently in use at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, aims to ease traveler stress while also increasing revenue for garage owners. After the car owner reserves a space in the garage with the app, they simply drive the vehicle to the assigned location and leave it there. The Stan will then travel to the car, scan the vehicle to estimate its size, and then carry the car by the wheels to its assigned parking spot. The system can be coordinated with flight details, allowing the returning car owner to pick up the car in the same space they left it.
