SafeCap Prevents Drowsy Driving

Nov-06-17 Ford’s SafeCap was designed to help keep truckers alert on the road.

Created in collaboration with the creative design firm GTB, the SafeCap is equipped with sensors able to monitor the head movements of the driver. If the sensors detect motions that could indicate drowsiness or inattentiveness, the cap will trigger an alert to warn the driver to get off the road.
