Scewo Stair-Climbing Wheelchair

May-11-17 The Scewo self-balancing wheelchair can climb stairs or elevate the user to a better vantage point.

Developed by students from the Zurich University of the Arts and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, the Scewo keeps its balance with its three onboard gyroscopes. Navigating up and down stairs is said to be effortless, and the chair can be driven by a joystick, allowing riders with limited upper body strength to use the chair as well.
