The sleek and simple Scorkl invention lets swimmers breathe underwater for up to ten minutes.
The Scorkl is equipped with the same single-stage regulator used by SCUBA divers worldwide, and includes a pressure gauge to indicate the amount of air remaining. The cylinder can be filled with air either from a SCUBA tank or via its specialized hand pump attachment, allowing swimmers to explore below the surface quickly and with minimal equipment.
Leaving a burning building is dangerous as carbon monoxide or lack of oxygen kill quicker than flames. This tank would be an ideal emergency mask. Perhaps there could be also a chemical cooler to prevent even minor lung injuries. Posted by Uolevi Kattun on June 20, 2017
