Scout Agricultural Drone Checks Crops Automatically

Scout Agricultural Drone Checks Crops Automatically
Dec-17-17
The Scout drone from American Robotics will monitor crops automatically, returning to its shelter at the end of each round.

The Scout quadcopter drone can be programmed to fly a daily set route, capturing images of the crop using its onboard visual and multispectral cameras. Once its rounds are completed, the drone will return to its weatherproof home station, where it will recharge and upload its collected data to a server that the farmer can access from their computer.
