SeaBubbles Envisions Water Taxis on City Canals

SeaBubbles Envisions Water Taxis on City Canals
Oct-13-16
The SeaBubbles water taxi concept would see commuters ferried to their destination via city waterways and canals.

While the idea of water-borne taxis is not necessarily new, the SeaBubbles concept stands out in a few important ways. The crafts are all-electric and feature a unique design that allows them to travel quickly on the water without leaving any wake—an important consideration, since most city canals have wake restrictions. The SeaBubble team envisions the taxis being hailed with an Uber-like app, able to carry up to five passengers and a driver with a single-charge range of about 60 miles.

Very nice. But will need government support to work. Also, need to understand whether these seabubbles can function in adverse weather / marine conditions.
