Mar-17-19
A multi-parameter sensor able to detect both physical and chemical stimuli could have applications in medicine and drug manufacturing.

Developed by researchers at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, the sensor is made up of conductive ink that has been formed into an origami array. The sensor is able to detect temperature, humidity and light as well as organic compounds, with excellent resolution. According to the team, the ink used to create the sensor is affordable and easy to produce in large quantities, and could also be used in a health-monitoring tattoo.
