Mar-28-20 The Lexus Hikari concept car has a shape-shifting exterior that can either let light into the vehicle or close it off into a comfortable cocoon.

The exterior is a flexible e-rubber that can bend without visible creases. The car is powered by hydrogen and lined with fuel cells.

There are no visible doors or windows in this autonomous vehicle and it is the roof of the car that controls the ambiance, limiting light exposure to let the rider rest in comforting shade or work in a bright sunny space.
