The Shine sits on top of the toilet tank, where it creates electrolyzed water the team claims will clean as well as bleach. The cleansing water is released automatically at each flush, and can also be programmed for a cleaning cycle by the companion app. In addition to keeping the toilet fresh, the Shine can also detect if the water flow to the toilet tank is unusual, which could signal a leak, clog, or other problems—sending an alert in real-time to a paired device.
