Leave the shopping cart at the door with the ShopPal, a self-following companion robot that will securely carry your purchases for you.Currently aimed for use in malls and large shopping spaces, the compact little ShopPal features a safe storage compartment and mobile charging, as well as the ability to offer customized promotions and social interactions. According to the development team, the robot is the first of its kind able to navigate escalators, and the customer can choose to start or stop using the ShopPal anytime during their shopping trip. The bot can also remember the user’s shopping routine to provide personalized recommendations or share and review shopping trips on social media.
