SlimStyle Light Bulb is Cool and Bright

Dec-26-13 The flattened SlimStyle light bulb provides the same amount of light as a 60-watt bulb while consuming only 10.5 watts of power, and has a lifespan of 22 years.

Developed by Phillips, the SlimStyle is shaped a bit like a regular light bulb that has been mashed flat. It can be screwed into a regular light socket, where it will produce a warm and consistent light, and the horseshoe arrangement of the LEDs allows for more efficient heat dispersion than conventional LEDs. This efficient heat dispersion eliminates the need for heat sinks, which in turn reduces the cost of the SlimStyle to just a bit more than conventional light bulbs.
