Smart Bed Encourages Better Sleep

Jan-09-14 Sleep Number’s smart bed is loaded with sensors that monitor the sleep patterns and vitals of the user to help promote better sleep habits, and includes a Partner Snore feature (to help promote domestic harmony).

The smart bed is equipped with Sleep IQ technology that analyzes sleep patterns in order to recommend the best settings for its adjustable mattress, and is separated into two sensor-sections, which can be individually adjusted to best suit the user’s needs. One example of the separate-need function is the Partner Snore features, which allows the user to raise their partner’s headrest to help alleviate snoring.

The bed also responds to simple voice commands, can record messages and is equipped with under-bed lighting that acts as a pathlight for middle of the night errands.
