Oct-07-12 The Response XRT heated gloves from Chaval take advantage of an automatic heat level adjuster to improve performance and battery life.

The gloves use alphaHEAT technology, which eschews the conventional manual thermostat in favor of an automatic heat adjuster. The automatic adjuster can sense the cold and increase the heat production in certain areas of the glove, cutting energy costs by up to 50 percent over conventional heated gloves. In addition, the XRT gloves use flexible, flat conductive tracers, rather than wires, to power the gloves, improving the gloves' flexibility and cutting weight.
