SnooZeal Exercises the Tongue to Prevent Snoring

SnooZeal Exercises the Tongue to Prevent Snoring
Nov-29-16
The innovative SnooZeal device exercises the tongue during the day to help reduce snoring at night.

The SnooZeal is based on the knowledge that most snoring is caused by the tongue muscles relaxing too much during sleep, which blocks the breathing passage and creates the snoring sound. To help keep the tongue in its place during the night, the SnooZeal mouthpiece is equipped with a pair of electrodes that will electrically stimulate the tongue to prevent it from relaxing too much at night. The SnooZeal is meant to be used twice a day for six weeks, and can be controlled via a remote or a smartphone app.
