Solar-Powered Kvaern Ebike

Solar-Powered Kvaern Ebike
Mar-04-18
The solar-powered Kvaern ebike lets cyclists go completely off-grid.

The sleek Kvaern ebike gets its power from the company’s Kvaern+, a solar powered battery pack designed specifically for electric bikes. The pack harnesses and stores solar energy, which can be tapped by the bike for charging. The Kvaern bike will have a range of up to 31 miles, with a 250-watt motor and an acceleration speed of zero to 15 in just over four seconds.

Tried years ago with triangulated racing bike frame solar cells inside on both sides, weight not a problem, 20 klms side gusts would take over and move bike sideways into traffic or gutter.
Your arrangement doesnt encounter those problems.Good luck with your efforts.
