Solar Sun Shade Lights Up the Night

Nov-17-11 The Eco-Leaf solar window shade harvests the sun during the day and uses it to power its OLEDs at night.

The Eco-Leaf shades are made of a semi-translucent, flexible fabric that allows the sunlight to gently seep in. The integrated solar cells block the sun while harnessing its energy, which powers the leaf-shaped OLED's. A central cord controls the blind, allowing it to be opened, and the whole shade can be easily rolled up for storage.
