Solar Windbreaker Keeps Gadgets Charged

Solar Windbreaker Keeps Gadgets Charged
Aug-19-16
The Solar Windbreaker from Pauline van Dongen keeps devices charged while on-the-go, and was developed with safety in mind.

The Solar Windbreaker is equipped with three flexible solar panels that connect to a power bank in the jacket’s lining and can charge a phone in about two hours via its wireless induction system. The jacket itself is made of upcycled denim yarns and recycled polyester, and features five pockets and a hood.

The Solar Windbreaker was inspired by the needs of tour guides on the Wadden Sea Islands, who often lead long expeditions away from the mainland.
