Stryd Power Meter Accounts for Wind

Stryd Power Meter Accounts for Wind
Jul-05-19
The Stryd wearable power meter takes into account how much the wind is affecting running performance.

An evolution of the team’s earlier footworn running trackers, the Stryd power meter pod attaches to the laces of the shoe, where its onboard sensors detect environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. Perhaps most significantly, the new Stryd pod design features a better airflow design, which can measure wind conditions and detect if the runner in running into headwind or not. Data is stored on board and transmitted to a paired device in real time and for later review.
