Sunu Band Navigates with Sonar

Sunu Band Navigates with Sonar
Aug-07-17
The Sunu band helps the visually impaired navigate by detecting objects and obstacles with sonar.

The subtle, wrist-worn Sunu band is equipped with a sonar sensor able to detect objects up to 13 feet away. That information is then delivered to the wearer in the form of haptic feedback, with the stronger vibrations indicating the nearness of the object. The Sunu Band can be set for indoor and outdoor modes, altering its range, and the battery offers about four hours of use.
