Superpower Glass Helps Kids with Autism
Aug-12-18
The Superpower Glass from Stanford University’s Autism Glass project could help children with autism interact with family and friends.

Although Google Glass may have faded from the news, the technology is finding a new with the help of the teams Superpower Glass software. Designed for use as a training tool, the software communicates with a companion app to help children recognize face and emotions, improve eye contact and engage more readily in social situations.

In early tests with children with autism, 12 of 14 families noticed improved social skills after their child used the device for one to four months, and six children were even reclassified with a less severe form of autism.
