Tamron Camera Sensor Can See in the Dark

Tamron Camera Sensor Can See in the Dark
Dec-06-16
Tamron has unveiled a new imaging sensor able to capture scenes with a high dynamic range even in extremely low light.

The sensor, developed in conjunction with the Japan Science and Technology Agency, is able to gather enough information to create a clear image, even in a scene that appears almost completely dark to the human eye. The system takes advantage of specialized optics that use an ultra-low reflection technology to reduce artifacts, along with a custom noise-reduction and luminance technology that work together to improve the image quality.
