TAP Makes Blood Draws Simpler and Less Scary

TAP Makes Blood Draws Simpler and Less Scary
Dec-19-19
The TAP device from Seventh Sense Biosystems streamlines blood collection to make taking a blood sample both easy and painless.

Recently receiving FDA approval, the TAP device is placed on the upper arm, where its array of microneedles draw 20 microliters of blood relatively painlessly. That is enough blood for most lab tests, and the hidden needles of the device trigger less stress than the traditional method. The TAP is also simple enough to be used by individuals at home, allowing for remote sampling.
