TeleSound Give Voice to Emoticons

TeleSound Give Voice to Emoticons
Mar-07-13
Add some sound to your texts with TeleSound, a retro-styled speaker programmed to with over 1000 sounds that can be triggered over the internet.

Currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, TeleSound’s form was based upon a 1960s style telephone. It connects wirelessly to a smartphone or tablet and features a sound vocabulary based on standardized emoticon Emojis. Each sound corresponds to one Emoji, such as kissing sounds from the lip Emoji, and most sounds have some variations. Once the TeleSound is connected, anyone who has been authorized can trigger sounds by sending a series of icons from the free iPhone/Android app.

According to the developers, it’s like text messaging with Emojis transformed into sounds.
