The Man and The Machine

Jul-15-20 We are facing a new industrial revolution, machines and artificial intelligence are becoming more and more important and present in the workspace. These machines are not necessarily taking jobs away, they also work alongside humans.

Festo, a German company, developed a very realistic bionic arm that moves like a human arm would in order to pick up objects. It uses valve technology, sensors, electronics, and mechanical parts to run as efficiently as possible.

This bionic arm could serve as an assistant, or on a production line, taking away rough, dangerous, or monotonous tasks from human workers. This would allow workers to attend to more complex and productive tasks.
