Designed by Dan Baldwin, who also created the Scarpar Powerboard prototype, the Ungoverned 1 rolls along on a pair of caterpillar tracks powered by a four-stroke engine, and it is able to transition easily to different types of terrain, including sand, rocks and dirt, without needing its tracks to be changed. The rider can control the speed with a handheld, wired device, and a battery-powered, electric motor is also being considered as an option if the Ungoverned should reach the market.
