Ushibull Shirt Keeps Cows Cool

Ushibull Shirt Keeps Cows Cool
Aug-01-17
The Ushibull cooling shirt for cows from Gunze Ltd. minimizes heat stress for more efficient milk production.

The Ushibull shirt is made out of a fiber developed by the underwear maker with a high thermal conductivity. The shirt fits over the cow’s neck and shoulders, where an embedded sensor monitors the fabric’s moisture level. When the material becomes dry, a pump will send water through the fabric to help cool the cow.

Also gadflies may stress cows and horses. Animals could walk through a brushing exhauster which catches and thus culls gadflies in the pasture.
