Part of Lenovo’s Moto Mod line, a modular platform that features attachments to add different capabilities to Motorola phones, the Vital Moto Mod focuses on tracking health and vital signs. The device includes a finger-sized cuff, which can obtain data including heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen levels, temperature, and systolic and diastolic blood pressure from the finger. The ability to read blood pressure is a first for such devices, and relies on proprietary technology and inflatable balder that the team claims will deliver results comparable to full-sized devices.
