Wahu Adaptive Soles

Wahu Adaptive Soles
Jan-06-20
The adaptive soles from Wahu hide a set of shock-absorbing cushions that can be extended or retracted as needed.

The Wahu soles are controlled by a system of micro-compressors that pressurize an interior cavity of the soles to trigger the pads to extend—providing more shock absorption—or retract when more traction is needed. The system can be controlled manually or via a companion app, and the soles can also be set to adjust automatically, relying on their array of sensors to detect stride and pressure areas and choose the best setting for the terrain.
