Wearable Sensor Stays Stylish

Mar-20-12 The new wearable sensor from Avery Dennison was created with a fluid and organic shape, looking stylish while it gathers physiological data for up to one week.

The shape of the sensor was inspired to move interpretations of the device away from being 'just a bandage'. The organic shape is fluid and unique, as well a comfortable to wear, and rigidity is minimized while the profile is kept as low as possible.

In order to ensure a resistance to dirt and moisture, the team looked to materials used in athletic products, specifically footware.
