XD Flashlight Doubles as a Battery Pack

XD Flashlight Doubles as a Battery Pack
Aug-20-14
The modular, waterproof ZeroHour XD tactical flashlight can shine a 1000-lumen light as well as function as a backup battery able to charge an iPhone seven times.

The XD's removable 10,200 mAh battery pack can hold three rechargeable batteries, and the device can operate even if only one battery is present. The bulb can be set to four different modes, and the USB charging ports can be accessed by removing the base of the flashlight's handle. The XD can function as a light while also charging up to two devices, and the entire battery bank can be removed from the light head if desired.

The XD's modular design also offers up new uses, such as the ability to create a watertight storage cylinder from the flashlight's body, and the company plans to add a new range of component choices to the line, including longer handles and a lantern-style head.
