Xeed Wearable Helps Track Tremors

Xeed Wearable Helps Track Tremors
Jul-11-16
Developed for Parkinson’s patients, the wearable Xeed invention tracks a person’s tremors to help improve their physical therapy.

The Xeed band is designed to be worn on the wrist or ankle, where its assortment of sensors will monitor the wearer’s tremors and then track them on a companion app. This data allows therapists to better measure the patient’s progress. Collected data from the Xeed can also be used to help Parkinson’s patients in general, by noting certain times of day or activities that worsen tremors.
