Zoll Hospital Wearable Defibrillator

Zoll Hospital Wearable Defibrillator
Mar-12-17
The Hospital Wearable Defibrillator from Zoll Medical will automatically detect a dangerous arrhythmia and provide immediate treatment.

Timely treatment of patients in cardiac arrest has been proven to increase their survival rate. To that end, the Hospital Wearable Defibrillator (HWD) was designed for patients at risk of ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation (VT/VF) while in the hospital. If the HWD detects an arrhythmia, it will trigger an alarm that allows the patient to delay the shock by pushing a pause button. If the patient does not respond to the alarm, the device will then deliver the shock as long as the arrhythmia continues.
