The Big Data Revolution in Soccer
National Soccer Team, Germany
Big data has had an enormous effect on how soccer is played. Each player is tracked digitally and the resulting data is used to measure key performance indicators such as average possession time of the ball, number of touches/kicks and movement speeds.
